Dear Promoters, Artists, Friends & Music-Lovers!
After 6 successfull years, ORANGE APE Artist-agency will be closing down.
I look back at wonderfull times with great artists and all the people I met, long nights, amazing festivals, lots of travels to interesting cities and last but not least wonderful music!
As the world is turning, directions of life are changing too and it was time to come up with some fresh ideas to add new fields of work to my life! Connecting people in different ways is still my mission!
ORANGE APE HISTORY:
Founded end of 2002 by Yasmine Orth ORANGE APE Booking started with an idea that electronic music needs some tongue in cheek. The agency was always looking for more unique, non-conventional artists, live performers, visual artists, creative people and making sure that besides business there was also a tight personal connection between the agent and the artists.
In the last 3 years ORANGE APE got also busy in music consulting, tourmanagement, artistmanagement, festivalcoordination, locationscouting, booking foreign artists to corporate events and doing showcases & events with own concepts.
Here are three milesstones:
In September 2005 ORANGE APE took part at the third concept of the Partysan Media Group called "Partysan Yachting" in the Turkish Reviera. ORANGE APE selected a female-only Berlin crew and DJanes therefore. One week of sailing, partying and relaxing!
One unforgettable memory was the own float at the last Berlin LOVEPARADE in 2006. An official voting system and jury selected ORANGE APE as one of the 35 floats. The musicprogram was created by an international female line-up. Contrary to the colourful Love Parade, ORANGE APE decided to opt for a very fabulous black & white 20's look for the float decoration and crew.
In January 2007 the famous Berlin COOKIES CLUB opened in an old cinema after 2 years of searching for a new place. This Club developed as one of the most important Berlin hot spots over the last 10 years. Yasmine Orth was promoting her 2 own concept nights called La Boum & Creme de Nuit every month from January untill September.
Since June 2008 a new agency is founded called CREATIVE CONNECTORS. An agency with a worldwide creative-network and areas of creative connecting & consulting, guestmanagement & creating special events.
